No, they said no to the Isle Of Capri one b/c it doesn’t fall into the ideal of what Duquesne wants for its students. BUT, one of Duquesne’s high officers (board of trustees, president, someone) is very involved with the Harrah’s bid to build one in Station Square. :cough: bullshit :cough:

We don’t need that kind of money. We’ll spend more on doubling the police force than we’d make from the casinos. Look at Tom Murphy’s $15million surplus. Cut the BS. Well put except the part about pittsburgh. It will end up being currupted some how. Maybe the turn pike commision can have their grass cut twice a week in multi dirctions instead of once a week, or the fucktards in Harrisburg can vote themselves more raises.

The Lawmakers in this state will fuck it up somehow like they always do. Just like that homestead exemption BS with the property taxes, got a small refund from the county and the towns doubled theirs so you didn;t see any of it Plus extra.

It is foolish to think that the only fix of the city’s financial quandry is a huge cash injection. There is no problem with how much money they make off of taxes already. Its poor alocation on funds and egregious spending that puting a hurting on the burgh. Slot machines are a tax on the retarded. Garanteed to make more money than the put out.

The best way to fix a cup with a hole in it is not to double the amout you pour into it. You must fix the hole. Is being conservative a synanym for being effecient?
