i have a cat on all the cars in my family but none of us have really upgraded any of that stuff yet

I actually care about the environment, and hi flow cats do not restrict your flow THAT much…
You people should realize how serious the problems with the environment are…
At the moment I have a cat because I can’t afford to get caught without
one.
I have run without one before on both KA and SR…
On an NA motor there isn’t much difference so you may as well run a cat.
On a turbo motor a straight-thru pipe offers less restriction, allowing the
turbo to spool faster, especially if you already have a full turbo-back
exhaust setup.
Next summer I will switch back to no cat, it sounds better too on turbo
cars.
I have a hallowed out hight flow cat hehe. When i was doing dino runs the cat over heated and the car was running like crap. So it got hallowed out. so it looks like i have one but i dont.

I have a Vibrant 2 1/2 Highflow, Seemed to help the performance some.
I have a cat that I bought in Europe 2 summers ago it’s made by Sebring it has Zero restriction pure straight flow you can see right trough it, it’s a hollowed out cat only there for just in case you get pulled over.
Hotshot performance header - 2 3/4 Pipe - Sebring hollowed cat - 2 3/4 Pipe - Magnaflow straight flow muffler with dual tips.
No restrictions, no resinators no nothing almost like a straight pipe. I lost a little tiny bit of torque but it totaly makes up for in on the top end, it sounds great and I can sometimes blow a few fire balls out the back during high RPM’s.
I have a cat but it is also Hollowed out on the Sr.
We have tuned cars with no Cat to be Cleaner than they did when they came stock off the Assembly line.
