Coming home from softball last night I met a pretty new CBR600 (didn’t get a chance to see exactly what kind of CBR is was…). We both turned onto some road and started at about 20 mph or so. I wasn’t sure if he was going to do anything since we had been cruising near one another for a few miles previous. Anyway, after we both straightened out I saw him hit it, I followed in second gear at around 3000rpm or so. We ran to about 70ish which was getting pretty close to the end of my third gear. Off the start he got me by a bike or two, then at the end he was about 3-4 ahead of me, the whole time he was slowly pulling away. We had to slow it down as we were in a 45mph zone and the point had been made that he was faster. I saw him give a thumbs up as he drove away and I entered the turn lane. I pretty much expected that outcome, but nevertheless it’s fun to race bikes:)
I didn’t catch what the exhaust was…the bike was yellow and one of the headlights was out. I’m sure the headlight being out will tell you exactly what kind of bike it was:P
He mentioned one light was out meaning it could have been a 600 RR I owned an 04 cbr 600 RR and lowbeam 1 light will stay on high beam they will both shine
