wow… seems they have sped the process up… when I got mine, it was right after Defazio was kicked out of office and this anti firearm mullen got put in.
They closed the office on weekends and past 4pm, instituted that stupid post card waiting period (45 days minimum at the time) and you had to do the initial application in person. Had to take half days from work twice to get it.
They still changed it… When I got my permit, you got it the same day you went down… Now you gotta run around more… For Allegheny county atleast.

i went down twice but i can’t really remember how long it was between trips, 2-3 weeks at the most

As I understand it, a LTCF or CCW permit is valid throughout the state of PA with the execption of “first class citys”. Philly is the only first class sity in the state of PA.
But I maybe wrong on this. I will check it out.
Open carry without a license is the only exception for cities of the first class. No matter what you’ve heard a Pa LTCF is valid anywhere in the state of Pa.
