ok i dont know why but my stock 05 grand prix gtp full loaded will not read cd-r’s… ive tried multiple brands and none will work… im thinking maybe it will read cd-rw’s… any input?
if it wont read CD-Rs it probally wont read RWs, im surprised it wont read CR-Rs tho anything int the owners manual say what it will read and what not?

Dumb Question but your not trying to play MP3’s are you? the music on the CD-R is in proper audio format?
yes it is… ive burned cds this way for years now and never had a problem until now
ya i go to dealer and he told me some of the newer gm cars wont play burned cds casue of an aggrent with the record industry

sorry i have never had a problem with burned cds before in my 97 ranger or 02 sentra… so idk why my 05 gtp would be any different
