ceramic bearings

those of you that have used them, where did you go for them?

will be for racing application.

is there such a thing as “fast enough”?

the turbo in my SHO powered camaro has ceramic bearings. So far it has held up great. The turbo has been in various places in my garage and has had multiple people pick it up and spin it while making spooling noises. It probably has several hundred revolutions on it by now and has no shaft play yet.

edit: mine was purchased from innovative tuning when the precision billet series first came out.

Specific application? Jackshaft, driveshaft and suspension in your sled? On the trail, they’ll never last, and will be an exercise in futility.

I buy my ceramic bearing from Boca Bearings in Boca Raton FL. www.bocabearings.com. They have them for bottom brackets, hubs, headsets, etc etc.

thanks, i will check into boca.

it is for race only application. not for trail sled lol
