Chads S14 Build

Whats the benefit of running dual calipers? One for a hydro e-brake?

^^^ correct.

ya i’ve heard so many different views and opinions on hydros and cables and blah blah blah. I went this route because this system allows for a separate sytem which will not interrupt with the standard brakes, staging brakes and pass through e brakes work fine, but they use the same resivoir as your front and rear wheel brakes, and can affect pedal feel when both the E brake and foot brakes are engaged.

I also picked up an open diff for welding this weekend, took it apart to get all cleaned up and prepped.

All clean ready to go, I wonder how long this will last me at 400whp

coming together nicely, having to plumb the brake/clutch/fuel/ps lines this weekend as well.

I’ll get more pics up soon.

The s14 is coming along nicely, can’t wait to see this thing get rowdy on the track.

oh yeah, thanks for the brakes.

daaayyummm, thats a nicely done s14
hoping my s13 will get that much love once i start fixin her

Thanks guys, really appreciate the positive feedback, I’ll try to get some updates soon, decided to change the door bars and re do the fuel cell straps as well.

nicely done.

nice build, keep it up

noice! in for updates!

Updates!

Got the rear end completed and battery and cell securely mounted.

fully committed

I’m loving this built.

bowl down for your dual caliper setup and all the other crazy tubing

Welded up some stainless 4’’ and made a muffler and the rest of the exhaust, got some time to wipe it down and get some decent pics.

Appreciate all the comments!

super badass!

This is a crazy build, i love all the fabrication. What brand fuel cell is that?

Thanks bud, it is actually just a standard aluminum cell with foam baffles and gas gauge sending unit, not sure of the brand.

Gonna be ready to go after a few last things

Thanks again for all the respect guys.

I am fortunate enough to have access to a full fabrication shop and was able to replicate this Racepak mounting bracket and get a few pieces made on a CNC plasma.

Thanks

Oh, you should have made that mount have little ears that stuck just past the edges of the racepak so you could mount some sweet aftermarket turn signal indicators
