Charity Bicycle Ride at Lime Rock Park

This might interest someone here. Not a bad way to spend a day with the family, Enjoy! :thumbup

LRP is about 80 miles from Albany.

Ride your bicycle on the Lime Rock track from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 19!

It’s a charity ride called Wings of Hope, to benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and its “REACH for the STARS Cancer Survivorship Program.”

If you sign up, you are asked to pay a registration fee and also set an individual fundraising goal for your ride. You can ride the track, which is 1.5-miles long, as many times as possible – or simply ride to enjoy the scenery. There will be a separate course for kids in the lower “A Paddock.”

There will be family activities on-site, and refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Entrants are encouraged to pre-register on the Wings of Hope website, but “walk-ins” (ride-ins?) on the morning of the event can be signed up, too!

If you come, PLEASE go to the Lime Rock Park MAIN ENTRANCE at 60 White Hollow Road.

We know Lime Rock fans like to support good causes, so if you want to enjoy a unique experience – taking laps on your bike on the track – this is a very good reason to do so.

Lime Rock Park supports the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center – and we hope you can too…

Think fast, ride well!

Who ever does this… Make sure you don’t let off on the up or down hill.

im still hurting from yesterdays 30 mile ride

You should ride up to Albany.

Sounds pretty cool, unfortunately I’m not into bicycling lol.
