I stumbled upon some $300 cheep intercooler on ebay… anybody know if this will do my s13 blacktop anygood??? if it does then this is the best deal in town for intercoolers!

$300USD = $500CAD to your door. If the core design is good, I can’t see anything wrong with it.
As to what a good core design is, well I guess you gonna have to research that.

If you want a cheap intercooler core you should look at Spearco. Their plate & fin design is really good.
I’m more partial to the usual tube & fin like a HKS or GReddy core but Spearco does work.
Do you know who sells/distributes Spearco cores locally?
Even Griffin cores would be good.
These are cheap intercoolers. They are not good intercoolers. You get what you pay for. They do work OK, but wouldn’t be my choice.

I would much rather get a Spearco. They are in the $400USD range and
that’s a good price for a good intercooler. At least that’s my impression.
If I can’t find anything good then Spearco is what I would get.

They are in the $400USD+ range so I am guessing anywhere from
$700-$800CAD shipped to your door. These are for full intercoolers not
just cores.
Griffin forgot about those. Yea those are really good. Griffin also makes good radiator cores. They used to make the radiators for KnightSports Japan. I believe they also used Griffin cores for their IC kits.
Plate & fin works really well I just don’t like the way they look.
