No he’s looking for a place

I have an awesome shop but they just relocated ad I don’t have their new number.

I’m going there after work tomorow I’ll ask him what he can do for you.

Jantos, ask for me too. Im getting frustrated.

I had pete come to help me and we couldn’t get the bellhousing to budge.

He’s figuring there must be a hidden bolt or something I missed.

We gave 'er and it wouldn’t move.

BAH!

he said 300 is the cheapest he can get and he’s looking for cheaper, just wondering where it is, b/c that is an ok price. unless you have better

$300 is like dirt cheap to get clutch changed. Sure it’s just labour but it’s
hell of a lot better then what I’m calculating: $70/hr x 10hrs+ for clutch job.

I’m guessing…I’m so far into my progress that I feel like an ass if I got
a shop to do it.

its at my friend shop but thats my price from him

crap, that means he only gets the 300 dollar deal!

Fak G, Do I have to come there and do it for you… Again…

LOL 300 IS WAY CHEAPER THAN $70/HR x 10 HRS LABOUR… = $700… is it plus tax or including tax???

YO JSP3C… here’s something i found about the “clutch slippage you may be asking about”… remember how you said its been acting like that?? well… basically it happened around the same time it was really really cold outside right?? anyway here’s what i found… its written below in blue letteres…

It’s a hydraulic clutch and anything hydraulic starts to get thicker when it’s colder out.
My altima does it, my NX does it and my Silvia would do it if I was driving it.
It’s nothing to worry about if it goes back to normal once it’s heated up.
I’m sure the gear shifter feels “sludgy” too at first.

You didn’t really “find” this, it is a response by someone on the board to your question in the tech section.

You can just post the link, that way he gets all the information, and instead of posting twice in a row, you can use one post that includes everything you want to say.

AND you posted in the wrong thread, read the title and post appropriately.

Yes, yes you do. But I’ll let you enjoy your x-mas break before troubling
your sorry ass.

I’ll go at it on my own next few days. Will see what happens.

clutch is fried, when i got home it barely moves when pedal is release fully u dont feel any pull.

hahah – mine is the same way. I can let out the clutch in 5th gear and the car doesn’t even budge…the rpms don’t even drop.

Oh well, new one goes in tomorrow…all will be good for XMas
