Is that parts and labour, or just parts/just labour. If its both, $300 is pretty damn cheap. I’m taking it that this is in a 240. What year? I’m on Snap-on shopkey right now, and S-13 your looking at about 3.9 hours labour, S-14 is quoted as the same @ $82/hour (my shop rate), so if the $300 is for labour, he’s not quoting you too high…

get the flywheel resurfaced and get a new throw out bearing
who quoted u cause quote usually go up when thye start workin on ur car
where are u located that may help that way people can refer u to a shop or something. changing the clutch your prolly looking at about 2-3 hours labour. so i sa u find out from a few shops.
too bad you couldn’t just do it yourself, it’s not too bad, as long as you have somewhere heated to work in, just put a new clutch on my rb20. it was out of the car too though…
