cheapest auto insurance???

my brother is looking to insure himself, and he doesnt make much money.

where is the cheapest place to get auto insurance for liability only, he owns his own truck, (paid for) ?

It’s different for everyone. Depending on his record, what type of truck (does it have anti-lock brakes, daytime running lights, etc.) He should go and get a quote online. I’m pretty sure all insurance companies do them.

Geico was surprisingly cheap after I checked. A lot better then progressive.

just get quotes everywhere. No cost other then some time.

its definitely person to person, because progressive for me was half of what geico would cost. so I went with progressive.

Gieco was also dirt cheap for me. I’m 20 with an accident on my license. Sure the cavalier isn’t worth much but places wanted as much as $800 for 6 months for just comprehensive. Geico is only $300 for me comprehensive with full glass $500 deductible.

Geico FTW

pm testicle duh

well hopefully hes been driving for a while, i just hit my 3 year mark, on my winter beater its 228$ for liability onli through allstate but then again its a 94 sundance, 27$ for 6 months fire.theft on my neon, and then i have full coverage on that 600 for 6 months for each dyuring the summer, i just got on my own policy too

I have full coverage with Geico and I pay 500/6 months. Not bad for a 21 year old with a GT. Every other place was more expensive by a few hundred.

geico was outrageous for me… i switched to progressive and i am paying almost half what geico was charging me

Unitrin direct is by far the cheapest i have ever found. Their service wasn’t bad either.

ugh I agree with you…sad day in the life of Sean.

Geico was cheapest for me…havent had to test their customer service yet though…I might be switching back to Statefarm

geico was half of what i was paying progressive.

have him get quotes from all the sites and go from there.

Just go there.

I was under Progressive for ~3 yrs, no real problems. Covered a couple of tickets, and a fender bender with a Viper when i was 19.
With Geico for another ~4 yrs, again no problems, no complaints. Premiums kept going down every 6 months.

Went to Allstate because it is now cheaper packaged w/my homeowners. And, well, I owe Allstate big time. lol.

I add & drop at least one car per year, so the online site for Geico was by far the best for me… but thats a minor reason to stay w/a company.

Take Speedped’s advice (OMG, ugh), PM Testicle onthe board here. He is apparently a great agent.

Oh, and for gods sake, consider how much actual coverage you need - IOW, not just the bare minimums.
