i just signd in with asshole / bitch at that link and it worked, lol

the crafty emails like that will set up their page so it automaticly tests the login thru ebay, and will reject your log / pass if its wrong

Anybody who read this who’s not an idiot would know it’s not from Ebay. First because it says “re-update,” there shouldn’t be a “re”. And because it says “To resolve this problems…”

yea ive gotten some emails a couple weeks ago from some scammer. in the email it said that they needed to confirm my credit card info, along with my user name and password. the link was bullshit cus when i highlighted it, it had an ip address before ebay.com. i wanted to click on the link and put “nice try” in the user name field, and “asshole” in the password field. i didnt tho in case he would get my ip and fuck something up with that. so i just forwarded the email to ebays scam department. thats pretty much all you can do

The best part about this is that a lot of the images in thos ekinds of emails are linked and downloaded form the web. So when you open the email, you end up downloading the picture and it shows that you are an “active” person out there at least perusing the email, sending a signal to send you more bullshit emails. Don’t even bother opening the junk mail it just shows you at least gave it some thought and they will send even more
