I have no clue what this thing is…
Any guesses?
Looks good though
My guess is a corvette, maybe a custom?

Looks like a stingray
its definatly a corvette, thought the front lights look weird. the first thing that came to mind is the 70’s Z lights
early '80s vette w/ stingray front … reminds me little bit of a cobra coupe?
pre 74 I believe due to the chrome bumpers
Maco Shark - Corvette concept
iirc the guy who designed it got fired
Clearly a Corvette
… my bad… no good w/ domestics n muscle cars…
n mako shark concept didn’t look like that… looked much nicer

Yeah, '73 I think, '74 had plastic front with chrome rear bumper, and "72 didn’t have the chrome rings around the grills.
The car itself looks like a '70 or '71 Stingray. You can tell buy the side pipes and under bumper. That said, no Stingray ever had fixed headlamps, they were pop-ups. I imagine that’s some kind of concept car or custom fab job.
My dad keeps talking about something called “Baldwin Motion”
Apparently in the 60’s and early 70’s Chevrolet had a deal going with the Baldwin Motion dealership, and Chevy allowed them to modify their cars and sell them to the public with FULL warranties!
Thats awesome!
Like if NISMO was an outside contract from Nissan.
Apparently this is a 1969 Baldwin Motion modified Corvette.
^^^
Entirely possible, but unlikely.
Baldwin, like Mr Norm, were dealer option guys. They just tricked out cars with what they had available to them.
Look at the Balwdin Motion Chevelles and Novas, they had stripe packages, slighty warmed over.
Then you had the Mr. Norms Dusters. He was slipping blowers on Dusters and selling them as Duster Demons, with cartoon devil decals.
Also, thinking about it … the Dealer optioned cars (like the Yenkos) were all finished before this vette happened (being a mid 70s). Most of the Dealer cars were late 60s. GM had a big problem with it. They put the kaibosh on the legendary COPO stuff pretty quick too.
Anyway, here’s a Baldwin Motion Vette
That other Vette is definitely a custom.
Here’s a Demon with the Mr Norm’s installed supercharged small block
there were a lot of disguting body kits available in the 70s for Vettes.
I’ve seen one around Dundas/Dixie with the awful, awful “Corvette Summer” body treatment. Le barf.
dear lord…
more like summer suiside
WWWWWWW TTTTTTTTTT FFFFFFFF ???
What’s wrong with these people?
thats messed up
Wasn’t this a movie?
yeah, corvette summer. a movie all car enthusiasts should see at least once. theres a datsun 240z in the movie too.
it looks like woody wood pecker caught on fire or sumthing
