Chime in Geico boys and girls

Welcome to the contact center industry… turnover is extremely high same with collections industry.

My cousin and his girlfriend work there and seem to like it. But I have heard mixed reviews of course the people who don’t make it are not exactly unbias.

The insane turnover rate is what kind of scares me. I dont mind a strict HR department and in fact I prefer it, as long as they are fair. what I cant stand is when the HR department acts like they are god. I have previous management experience so I doubt I will have any problems dealing with customers (no im not looking for a management position but it would be nice lol).

Basically just looking to switch fields.

I absolutely love my job and the people i work with. But the whole blue collar thing is getting fairly old, and job advancement seems to be a little stagnant. At least for the moment.

Why not trying going back to school?

I doubt many people make decent money working at Geico

my thoughts exactly, plus the fact that i hate working for somebody when i know im smart/capable enough to make my own money and be damn good at it.

My thoughts exactly.

Your right LZ schooling is a definite must. Kind of have some shit holding me back from it at the moment though. Once that’s sorted out im there.

you would be surprised.

parking lot test… somebody drive by and report if we’re talking 1990 camry, or new 3 series / A4s filling the lots.

I guess I should have defined decent…and also added something with a decent career path also…

it’s decent money for buffalo. doesn’t mean it’s decent money.

wat? I took vacation after I was on the job 5 weeks.
