Ya. I also like gift cards too for stores people like. The thought is there that you think of them but they can get something they want. Esp for people who feel its offensive to return something and rather put it in their closet and never wear it versus take it back and get something they want.
Like I got my GFs family gift cards becuase I don’t know what they want or have.

Close to 60 on the boyfriend because he buys whatever he wants whenever he wants and he’s that guy that says “don’t get me anything” and I can’t creatively shop for him, it’s too stressful!
This is probably the year i spent the least … i’m an educated shopper

As far as me I try to do as much nice things for people who I know deserve them as I can.
My brother knows I can snag lots of movies, so he gave me a list of movies he wanted to see/own and I went out and downloaded and burnt them or copied them. His gift = $0 yet I know he will love it.

its kinda cliche but our 1 year is on xmas, she couldnt decide between which $200 ring she wanted (just jewerly, not engagement or anything) so i got both of them. plus it was her birthday monday too. lol
No female, so gift buying was easy. Plus with gas so cheap right now I had plently of room in the budget.
