i think thats it.

who are you dealing w/ locally? i am about to send shit out. i got a set of rare oem bumpers that im having refinished. looking at 250 a bumper to have redone. that includes stripping metal down to bare steel, pounding out any dents/dings, re copper plating and then daily driver quality chrome finish. show car chrome is more money and more time–as shit is prepped differently.

im not dealing with anyone locally thats why i made this thread i wanna save on shipping and shit and keep it local

if i cant find it local im prob not gonna have half that shit done

http://www.perfectmetalfinishing.com/ thats where im taking my stuff to. im heading out to nj probably end of month. just dropping it off and having it shipped back.

i dont know of anyone local who does chrome. i imagine there has to be a place in the general pgh area. yet none that i have heard about.

hopefully there is someone local though.

no one?

Pauls Chrome Plating in Evans City .

There used to be a place that specialized in chroming work for big rigs out in New Stanton, can’t remember the name though…

Bill’s chrome in Jeannette. Pricey though, but good work. He probably will send the crossmember out due to the size.

i called pauls his prices are nuts with shipping i can send it to cali and have it done cheaper then they can do

you asked .

Paul’s does good work from what I’ve seen. I hear they are a lot, too… but they do some nice work.

In the resto world, nobody is happy with Paul’s.

I just sent my GTO bumpers out to Keystone. I have heard alot of good about them. We’ll see in 8-10 weeks. They really only do bumpers. They don’t get involved in anything else.

well here is the deal with pauls everyone says you get what you pay for…

but if this place does the same 3 step dip brass/nickel/chrome and its less then half the price of pauls why would i go to pauls to find out i could have got it done alot cheaper with the same result…
