Circuit City = Done

Ugh Radio shack, I remember when I used to be able to walk in there and buy a breadboard, or transistors, resistors, LED’s, whatever…

Now I walk in there its toys and cell phones

I miss Lafayette Radio electronics and Olson electronics.
Oh god i feel old…:crying:

Yeah…Olson Electronics down on 51…I remember it well!!

Radio Shack also used to be a useful store, but no more…

My sister just called, said

10% off everything
20% off Music, movies and games
30% off cables

Said the Monroeville store is busier then it ever was on black friday

Liquidation starts Saturday 1/17/09 and goes until 3/31/09 Heads up

I went out to Century 3 and it was pretty busy. I’m still gonna look out for them to cut some more off the prices.

Just got back from CC in Monroeville, if anything they jacked up the prices! FTL!

I just talked to my sister and she said the prices have not been touched… YET

I drove paste the McKnight road store a half hour ago on the way back from Sesame Inn and the turning lane was backed up atleast a 1/4 mile…

people are nuts.

CompUSA didnt do shit with their prices when they got liquidated last year. Everything was still expensive as shit. I suspect it wil be the same there.

Same thing I thought about when I was in the store.

i’ll be down there this weekend. going to have to see what kinda stuff i can get.

Was there last night (McKnight Road). They had some camera lense filters for like $1. I think they were originally $15-20 or so.

Picked up a Lexmark X7550 AIO for $80 today. Cheapest price online is around $185.

I still have a set of Lafyette tower speakers in the basement, old ass 12’s but still bump after all these years.

did you happen to look to see if they had either a canon 40D or 50D? they would be about 1000-1600 @ “best” buy.

Those old Criterion speakers were built like tanks!
