Circuit City Forced to liquidate

I was at the mckinley mall yesterday and Circuit city was packed. Normally they have 2 or 3 cars in the lot but it was full. People will flock to any store when they see the big “xx% off” signs.

because they just threw them back @ the store as “open box” stuff for the stores/ liquidators to sell… it isnt worth their time to try to call you (the asshole customer) to try and convince you to bring the product back…

well i won everytime then? so what are you trying to prove?

maybe they went out of business because of ppl like you, who constantly trying to scam and rip the company off. seriously, if you want something loud, get a sub instead. 6x9’s tend to last long if teated well.

That you are a dishonest ass hole and your actions raise prices for the rest of us. You seem like the type of person that would also commit insurance fraud.

GO AWAY

:repost: :roflpicard::roflpicard::roflpicard:

at this pointI think it is more like
:deadhorse:

so because im told by employees that if i dont like how they sound or pretty much just wanted to get new ones when the warranty was up, I’m the one in wrong doing? fuck that, i know so many people on here that would do the same fucking thing. thats their fault for giving out the protection plan and telling me what i could do. i just followed what i was told and got something out of it.

and i have a sub, i also wanted the highs and mids to sound better. hence why i bought all after market speakers.

HAHA your a fool Im sure you heard what you wanted to hear as i have work at a cc for about 2 years now and that has NEVER been the policy on speakers. You dont like how they sound so bring them back. Its probably that you cant operate your deck so they sound like shit. Have fun sending them back though your going to get the same pair of speakers back if nothings wrong with them. The third party doesnt provide a new speakers because the dumbass loser that sent em in “thinks” there is something wrong with them because they are a year old. Everyone is right it is people like you that drive all prices up for the rest of us. Stop defending your dick move and for being even more of a dick to the girl at customer service. So yea all of us are out of jobs but at least she can pay bills for 2 months and we for sure dont need the asshole comments from stupid customers like yourself every two seconds. BTW any employee or peron that claims they didnt have warning of this is al stupid as this was bound to happen within this year and everyone knew it

you really believed they would just take them back whenever you felt like it as long as you got the protection plan?

Ha they tried to sell me a 3-5 year warranty on my TV I got from them. I laughed in the guys face and told him I would buy one from Vizio directly.

was this recently? or earlier… and the joke is on you for buying a vizio…

ok so im wrong. so they never took any of the pairs i brought back with out any question. why the fuck would i lie about something i was told or something that actually took place. and i wasnt an asshole to the lady, i actually didnt give her a hard time at all and we were actually having a conversation the whole time she was finding out whats going on. so again i dont see why i would argue this unless i know what i was told. but what ever! best of luck to everyone looking for a new job.

Actually the way all those “store warranties” have been marketed to me is that you can bring the item to the store rather than to the manufacturer for a replacement, if they don’t have your item anymore and its “discontinued” the upgrade you to the next comparable item. Its in the writing, I’ve seen it several times.

Sears does this with their craftsman drills. Most of the contractors wear them out (most of the time its the clutch or the switch that goes prematurely) so you bring it in. The change product lines quick so you usually end up with the new model same voltage or as close to yours as possible.

Plus I’ve heard the line from just about any store that sells the warranties “you can also just before the warranty is up bring it in to exchange for a new one”. They say it, I’ve heard it 1 out of every 4 times I get the spiel.

I choose to just buy a Milwaukee which has a 5 year warranty, I have to send it in or take it to a local service center and wiat, but the length of warranty outweighs the convenience in that case…plus I’ve only had a bad switch and a bad battery (bad battery popped and smoked within first 30 days no questions asked replacement)

Funny but ive worked at ccity for about two years as i said before that was NOT the case there most of the time we would do this yes however the actual policy is that things get sent out to be repaired if it cant be repaired we will then issue a gift card or replace it with a comparable model. Some are swap out but not at ccity it was just a courtesy thing we did for customers. Swap out if its broken is one thing but the fact that his speakers wernt broken is the whole issue that i think is rediculous.

your a scumbag
