I <3 my 96-98 front end.

IMO…I’d only swap fronts if you were looking into something like a backyard special bumper, chargespeed, etc. Something that is only made for the 99-00. You can make a 96-98 look good too.

I’m with him…I prefer the 96-98 I think it is just nice and clean…but either way both are nice.

Yea you’re totally right. Last night while searching online i found some really nice lips and such for 96-98 front. Plus the front bumper on my civic is still in good shape paint wise for being 10yrs old. Well i learn something new everyday and at least now i know whats involved if i want to convert. I may just stick with the front i’ve now cause i found a really nice lip kit for cheap.:bigthumb:

Thats a good question. I’ve seen knockones on ebay that are simliar to it. It does look kinda like the sir one. I’m not sure though.

i personally think the 96-98 front end looks so much better i even like the 96-98 taillights more but it could just be i have had a 97 for like 5 years

Anyone know about the quality of the sir lips off of ebay??? The one vendor has urethane fronts and rear that seem to be decent in price. Just curious if anyone knows anyone who has had experience with buying them off of there.

I have an authentic sir lip. I have yet to see a knockoff up close to compare the two as far as appearance and fitment.

There’s where I got mine. ICB Motorsport. They’re discontinued now so I’m sure once everyone’s out of stock the price is going to go sky high. I don’t know what the knockoffs sell for, though.
