I’ve gotten a few PM’s regarding cost. Alex gave me quotes on different doors with different options. I didnt go with the cheapest nor did i go with the most expensive option. Some might consider what i paid “alot” but for the quality, service, and warranty i think i got a great deal.

Best bet is to contact him for quotes on your particular project.

Hello everyone,

Johnny, thanks for the kind words! I am happy that you are happy, that is what concerns me most. I have your spare part and I will be over to install that within the next few days.

The door Johnny chose was a Millworks Solution French patio door, this isn’t your typically home depot grade door. The metal is thicker, the glass is Low-E with argon gas, and the door included the sliding screen. I probably put the door in for the same price that my competition would charge for the lower grade of door. My pricing has never been an issue.

I’m happy to see all the interest this stirs up. I’m in this business to be in business, so my number 1 priority is providing the best possible experience and quality for a price you can’t obtain anywhere else.

Thanks all!

No Tyvek under the siding?

There wasn’t any to begin with on the entire house, what difference would a 12" strip make? Additionally if you note, the pictures posted are of the tear down, not the finished product. I can assure you the new door is flashed correctly, I only like to do things once. I warranty my craftsmanship for life.

Is that a camo tool belt? I’ve never seen one of those before lol

I was only asking if there was any when you opened it up. Easy there Bob Vila.

I apologize, I take my work very seriously is all. Being NYspeed and all, I expect shots from all directions.

But nah, this must have been in a development prior to housewraps common useage.

I would guess cheap builder paying off a loose building inspector.

No house wrap. Guess I live in a cheap house. Tough NYspeed crowd.
