Standard Cobalt? 16.2 sec @ 86.8 mph (Motor Trend) and higher than that on Car & Driver.
Scion TC? 15.7 sec @ 88 mph
I’d say the 2.4 will probably be comparable to a TC, acceleration-wise. It’s only 30 more hp, plus the added weight of the SS shit. I doubt it’s going to be more than a half-second faster than the LS.
:gives:

Well the SS S/C has 60 more hp and its 2 seconds faster. so a car with 30 more hp and less body junk should be .5 to a full second faster, making it run low 15s. Also the tester is a 4 door possibly making it slower. Although this is pointless, its all a guessing game, the N/A SS is so new it hasnt been tested yet like i said before.
I thought the SS S/C was running high fourteens. What ever it’s running it’s still guaranteed to be faster than my heavy ass car.
Damn it’s depressing thinking about stock 4 bangers that run times I’ll never see.
I can’t see the 170hp SS running high 14s, that generally takes 200hp like an RSX or a much ligher car.
Who said anything about high 14s, i said maybe low 15s.
And last i read the SS S/C made a run at 14.4
And last i read the SS S/C made a run at 14.4
Damn, that’s way out of my league
You’ve got a grand am, what’s it run?
actually theres a guy on street n strip that ran 14’s.
low 16s lol (maybe some day it will run high 15s)
