i love this car so much more than the celica i traded for it
i think they look way better then the cavy/sunfire but i still don’t like the back/round tailights.
& i don’t like how they have 2 versions of the SS… N/A is S/C…personally think they should have 2 different names for them…like a GT & SS or something??
nice, looks like every other red cobalt i’ve seen
I agree, way better than the Sunfire/Cavy. I also agree on the name, imagine if they had made a V6 Camaro SS.
I hate the new brown and yellow state inspection/ emission stickers. They look so stupid…
i like the car, kill the wheel gap and lose the wing and i definitely would rock it!
the engine bay is quite clean!
thanks, i do plan on dropping it a bit, but im not sure how low i can go in this area, the eibach springs drop it to around 1.8 inches lower and im worried that im gonna be hitting stuff if i go too low, do you think that drop would be safe?
i agree, i hate having to keep stickers there at all
its all in paying attention to detail to distinguish mine apart from theirs lol
well i see where you are coming from but the thing is that the n/a ss isnt all that far behinf in 1/4 mile times from the s/c version ss so as far as n/a it holds its own in the 4 cylinder world
awesome
I’d call over a second a pretty big difference.
I don’t really like that they have 2 versions either, I would have liked to see a return of Chevy’s RS badging, but alas they pulled the same thing with the Monte Carlo a few years ago with the SS and then the SS Supercharged.
ssdragon, are you and I the only crossovers from css.net?
nice car:cool:
you missed out, i just sold lowering springs for $100.
how come you didnt put the rest of the injen on? instructions say to take the front bumper off but all you have to do is take the pass side inner fenderwell out and your golden. beats taking the bumper off.
i installed my friend’s like 3 weeks ago
yeah i believe we are since i never see any other cobalts on here, i put this website in east forums a week ago to try and get more people over here but i dont think it worked
well im not ready for the springs yet the turbo is what im putting all my money aside for right now, i wanted the short ram on purpose but i did remove all the plastic junk out of behind the fender covers, in these cars i dont think one is better than the other and i get plenty of airflow to the short ram since ive felt there after running and theres not much hot air at all and the shorter tube gives better throttle response imo
i like cobalts minus the wing,if i was going to buy a daily driver right now it would be a cobalt ss but a 5 speed with supercharged
nah wait until winter’s over and slap the rest of that intake pipe on, you’ll be glad you did I’m running my intake in my engine bay now and it sucks once the engine warms up
it’s tough to run it in the fenderwell in the winter, slush will clog that shit up in a minute and choke your engine. you’ll be thankful running only a few degrees above ambient in the summer though
ok ill have to think about that, i should be going to the dyno soon to see what my whp is im guessing around 170whp with my mods if my car mods anything like the 2.2’s do with I/E, i guess ill see soon enough
