why does it matter. Just laugh and say O.K. and let him think what he wants. When he goes to actually race someone and looses or runs at the track, let him make up excuses and say O.K. and laugh some more.
Yeah, up until a few days ago I’ve never heard of NA cobalt SS’s, I didn’t wanna say anything but that’s pretty outrageous to run 14s on a stock 4cyl NA
Is that the same engine they put in the regular cobalts?
Stock NA Grand Prixs are know as high 15 sec cars, but there seems to be more and more and more diggin into 14s with light mods. It takes practice though, I doubt I could get 14 sec slip my first time down the track.
ok, im sorry for outraging everybody but since no one with an auto has been able to take these out to the track yet since its winter on the cobalt forums we speculate, although 1 of the guys with a 2.4 ss ran a 15.1 with an airbox welfare mod which even isnt a real intake and that was his only mod, he still says he is confident that with more practice he can get into the high 14’s with no problem. now where i was coming from in estimating my times is off of what he did. i have a real injen cai and a ful 2.5 inch catback exhaust and if i put the car into intermediate gear in the auto its a performance mode that runs the engine to redline in each shift and shifts harder and faster so its not a bad auto tranny. so when i say i think i can run low 15’s and high 14’s this is what im basing it off of. sorry if i pissed anyone off, once i do run i will be happy to post the times and if im wrong oh well we are all human but ill be the 1st to admit it, i never thought there was anything wrong with speculating and i didnt mean any disrespect to 01gpgt, feel free to correct me if you feel i am wrong, after all the forums are a good place to learn things.
Why are these people fighting about cobalt times? I mean who gives a fuck? Why there attempting to drive there chevy cobalt around like its a 900hp supra is beyond me. Who cares about some 16 second cars?
