Will it mess them up completely? I have the Megans. I have been told the Megans will be ok and that it’s other makes that will be destroyed by winter.
they might rust and size up… it’s a risk to do it.
most coilovers state somewhere to never use them below freezing, you will most likly ruin them.
personally i dont like to risk $900, a day of work swapping them is alot more cost effective
Currently still riding on my D2’s.
Rode them last year in -35 temperatures.
They are still fine.
See I heard the D2’s were more prone to malfuction than Megans, when it comes to running them in winter. But yes, it probably is more cost effective to spend a day on them.
