I ride all year (if it isn’t snowing) but I have a heated jacket liner (bought from Max BMW Motorcycles, they stock heated gear) and heated hand grips LOL.

I gotta give credit to the guys I see riding in the middle of winter (usually Harley riders). That’s some dedication.
It’s not so bad once you go numb! LOL
I am a part of the Brunswick Harley Chapter and we actually have our annual “frosty balls ride” on Jan 1st, though last year wasn’t so frosty, as a matter of fact it was about 60* that day.
I’m also a member of the PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) we do escorts for veterans KIA or veterans that have just passed away. This Monday we will be escorting LCpl Denier (Marine KIA last week, who is from Mechanicville) from the Albany Airport to the American Legion where his wake will be. Rain or shine we ride.
The only 1 piece of riding gear I have is my snowmobile gloves, I use a neck warmer and just wear layers inside. My textile jack do have a removable thermo liner and it works.
However I don’t ride when it is close to 40’s so…
I’ve ridden in 20 degree weather before but just once. I’d do it again if the right circumstances came up.
As long as its like 40 and the roads are dry im out :lol
Oh I actually flipped on the TV yesterday and saw this. It was a nice act of respect for the fallen soldier to see all those american flags. Nice work!
my dad has a heated jacket and heated pants, they are amazing! especially in the rain. i think they are made by gerbling?

At the moment looking for a good/cheap balaclava. Hard to settle on one as they all have such mixed reviews. Any material suggestion for starters?
The one I use has a neoprene face mask, but I wear a half helmet. The Army/Navy store sells them in many different varieties.
