It looks like it may be a rough year for us Pitt fans…but I am still fired up!!! No Kinder FTL.
no kinder will suck but i’m excited cedic mcgee and tj porter will get to touch the ball a lot more… I think pitt can go 7-5 and make a bowl… 8-4 would be a great year. Optomistically thinking has them losing to WVU, Michigan state, lousiville and Navy ( yes navy, dont sleep them, they were 10-2 last year and lost to ND and rutgers. they only lost to BC in the bowl by 1 point. Navy runs a wishbone so pitt wont be ready for it). I think they can beat Rutgers… lets face it… rutgers may remember that they are rutgers and go in the tank… South florida is gettin overated as well as cincy. If pitt goes in the shitter thou it will be an 8-9 loss season real easy. The defense will be able to run with anyone this year. they have speed… its if the offense can score enough points. i think some guys are gonna need to play a lil two way… dickerson is so fast that you almost need to get him a touch or two on offense. McCoy…well i think the fans are expecting him to save this team but if they would just give the damn ball to collins they’d be in good shape on 3rd down to give it to Larod on the outside. If they can do that and give mcCoy time to develope they can set things up for next season.

i like larod but he’s not a north south runner. i am clearly bias but they would have been better off with jarvis over stephen-howling. jarvis out rushed kent’s whole team total of 505 in 2005 with nearly 800 yards last year. nothing you can do now but. jarvis can make people miss and break an arm tackle… larod can’t.
i was higher on turner than kinder as a pass catcher… kinder can block a lot better but i can see turner have a career as good as antonio bryant. the recievers and RB’s wont matter if the line can’t protect who ever is throwing… the reason pitt was half decent was becasue palko was good at escaping, stull and bostick might as well have cement shoes…i dont know enough about kevan smith.
