I’m trying to talk them into doing some just general purpose bags, I know I have my turbo and manifold stored in one.

All weapons rust, the rate at which they do just depends on how well you clean them and oil them and how you handle them. Of course the bags serve a greater purpose if you plan on storing them for a long time, in fact a huge number of people that buy them are collectors.

I think this would be a HUGE market if you made the bags to fit over engines on engine stands. It sure beats the weekly soaking with wd-40 inbetween parts installations.
