compression test on a b18c1

so i did my compression test and I got 195,198,200,202 from left to right. BUT im thinking the gauge is foked. check out the vid doesnt move until 5th turn…im sure if i kept it going it would go higher but it looked like they toped out around ^those numbers. also look at my spark plugs…look a bit white’ish if you ask me. i hit boost 2 times by mistake and it was only 2lbs-5lbs soooo im hopeing that didnt hurt it any.

Compression seems fine

and the spark plugs look like normal wear to me.

aslong as they aren’t black and grimey.

:gotme:

EDIT- With the turbo… did you get different plugs?

are were you running 93?

I still say your plugs are a-okay.

ye, i got colder plugs and they are gapped to something real small…i think like .25ish
93octane 4 life

Yeah that gap does look small, you can prolly open it to .030 w/out a problem. Gapping that small is fine though too, because once you tune, boost will actually open the gap up on ya.

open that gap… or lack there of.

plugs and compression numbers look fine.

the plug looks fine…its not leaning out?
why would i have to let the motor crank over like 20 times to get my # when ive heard of some letting it crank 8times to get their number…shity gauge?
bought at harbor freight
people normally do this b4 a turbo setup…since im going out of order and doing it after…mabye thats why the gauge takes a while to move…would that make it do that, already having the turbo in
