i did a compression test on my KA24DE, and it did 230 across all four cylinder… is that normal??

well…low compresion makes for BAD turbo build, but the higher the pressure it holds the better… may not have stock internals and if it does then you got blessed… buy a T-25 and the mani and boost her to high hells
