Consistent with frame damage?

Well I won’t know for sure until I can get it to the frame shop. Is unibody damage generally easy to repair?

Generaly, from what I’ve seen… Really depends on how its tweaked, you may get lucky, or it may feel a lil fucked up for the rest of its exisistance.

Most people I know that have any type of frame/unibody damage to their cars, say it hardly ever feels the same, even when it look spot on, maybe more of a psycological thing, but anyone I knew that had a tweaked frame before said you just know its not the same.

it never is the same unless ya get someone on it that knows whats up,after ya get it done look at tire waer there your best indicator for somthing wrong suspension wise :nod

Just ask Jay about this on his integra. He did a very similar event to his RR and tweaked the unibody pretty hard. I hard to “ghetto pull” the frame out a solid 3/8" because apparently no garage would touch it, and even in doing that it did not bring it back fully into spec.

(Note, I do not straighten unibodys here so no quotes. He was in a pinch and I lent him a hand by doing a rough quick fix on it w/o getting to in depth into the car itself).

Just wondering if you could straighten my unibody

Youd like that woudlent you :gay

Found the problem yesterday while the Z was on a lift. The front right king pin is visibly damaged, can’t believe I missed it. ::slight_smile:

I’d still have it checked anyways given the vehicles history

Oh I know dude, I plan to anyways but I’m stoked that the major issue is just a $50 fix.

well if we didnt try to cut off grannies this wouldnt happen! :nana

The shop I work at does great body work for a decent price, and we have a frame machine as well. Also a decent machine shop and repair shop as well. Located in CP

I will deny that statement up and down if ever asked :ninja

lesson learned though, no more curb hopping in the Z
