ne one else watch this series? the season finale was today and i must say i thought it was the greatest reality TV show ive ever seen.I was glad to see Sergio Mora come out on top,as i thought he was one of the least likely to win.my favorit contender was Joey Gilbert and i thought he or Jesse Brinkley were gonna be one of the last standing turned out niether made it,oh well

I think it sux that Manfredo didn’t win!! He just didn’t fight like how he normally fights. he just kept baby tapping Sergio!! I was a Manfredo fan even when he lost the first time. lol made my day when he got voted back in!! I’m sorry that Alfonso didn’t beat Manfredo now after this fight!!

Manfredo was just holding Sergio on the ropes cuz he knew Sergio was way to fast for him,by the end of the 7th round Peter couldn’t even hold his arms up ne more,hes strong but not enough stamina to go the distance with Sergio,i think Sergio has quite a bit of a hieght and reach advantage also,Alfonso was another great in that compitition was also sorry to see him lose
thats exactly what manfredo was doing!! theres not much more he could have done, i thought the fight was going in his favour after manfredo cut sergio i thought it was going to be an upset after that!!!
I was pissed to see ishe lose he was my favorite after he stomped on ahmed man that guy was a fucking retard!!!
OMG Ahmed was the most cocky MOFO ever and obviously had nothing to back it up.Ishe i thought was good at first but when he started thinking he was the best I was glad to see him go.
Another fighter that i hated to see go was Anthony Bonsante(besides his I love my kids attitude,which is fine but when thats all u hear about it gets annoying and overplayed)
he was so explosive tho,and after he put the hurt on Brent the way he did I started to think he might be the winner,but as we all seen hes got glass jaw aswell.Lucky punch by Jesse Brinkley and if he didn’t land that right uppercut he could have kissed his ass good-bye to.
Joey was my Favorite cuz he showed heart and compassion,the only fight i missed was Joey vs. Peter i just caught the last round and i cant recall if they called it off cuz of the masher cut Joey got above his eye from Manfredo’s head or if they did go the distance but i think it was called off(correct me if im wrong).
I wanted to keep ahmed around, just cause his girlfriend was damn FIIINE!! Ishe tho was too much of a cocky guy too, and tried to back down when it came down to backing all he talked up. but ya I thought Anthony was gonna really do some damage too.
Ya I also thought that after sergio got cut that Pete had it in the bag, all he had to do was keep working that side of his face.

I thought it was good intense TV, but it was actually brawling instead of boxing. :roll:
Nothing wrong with brawling, but the commentators were talking like these guys are now legitimate contenders in pro boxing. They just beat the crap out of each other, low blows, headbutts, hitting the back of the head, I even saw some elbow and forearm smashes.
Great entertainment, but it was not pro boxing. The referee was just like “let em go, don’t stop the show”. I was waiting for somebody to get an ear bitten off :anal
These guys were pro or just about pro boxers that didn’t get the chance at a title fight during their careers!! I think it was awesome to see a fight where they beat the shit outta each other!! instead of grappling on the ground rolling around like 2 fags!! I think that you will not see the end of any of the 8 final fighters somewhere in the boxing circuit!!
Best reality show, period. The 5 round elimination style tournament forced the guys to go hard at each other instead of the usual dance and clutch fests you see in most pro fights. My idea of a great fight is Hagler/Hearns and they went at each other hard for less than 3 rounds - if you get a chance to see the replay of that one on a sports channel make sure you make a copy of it. Sergio was my pick to win since the first time I saw him fight, fast hands and a smart fighter.
Don’t forget Peter Manfredo was ranked as high as #3 in the world so these guys were pretty legitimate. My favorite two guys were Alfonso and Joey. I was disappointed with the final, Stallone calling the fight was lame, & Peter’s style, while necessary, was boring to watch.
The show is in reruns, last night I watched Joey win his fight on one leg after pulling his hamstring.
