im not sayin theres not ways around it but there gettin a lot stiffer on what there doin and harder to beat
Yes, newer models are not as easy to get around. Many of them have vin and calibration junk in them that causes problems, but in his case (b18c ej8) his car is not an issue. Nor is any honda from 2005 and older.
im goin by what the dmv inspector was tellin us i can get a domestic to pass easy but i dont know a ton about foriegn cars and how the ecu works and what limits they have or tricks pulled for a better way of talkin
The dmv guys all have the same “canned” info they pass along to scare shops. I know about how it works with honda, nissan and toyota cars…but its a public forum, not the place to go into great detail.
