Well, the problem is you can’t simply release these people back to the general public. I can show you a mountain of evidence showing these offenders are almost never reformed. Until we admit that high risk sex offenders should get life sentences, what would you suggest we do with them?

The problem is our entire criminal justice system is designed on the idea that criminals can be rehabilitated. If the system admits that some criminals will never be rehabilitated then it has to jail, or at least tightly monitor, those criminals for life.

Or we could just kill them, and save the time, effort and money…
