COOL [Remote Control Car Lift]

i wonder if they have an attachment so you can lift the car at the frame. they’ve got to have one.

Not bad. The remote can certainly be useful in certain applications. But it wouldn’t be smart to use it while under the car, making it kind of overkill. Cool either way.

lol, I can just imagine the darwin award candidates changing their oil with the remote in their pockets.

I’d hope/assume there’s some kind of lockout/tagout

I did not hear any sort of ratcheting locks?

I can not even count how many times I have set off my alarm because the
keys were in my pocket while working on my cars.

Next time I want to put my car on saw horses, I’ll look to borrow a set.

The lift is not intended to hold the car up for service to the underside and high stands are required.

From the website.

Seems pretty pointless to me. Like drvnkd posted, no way you’d trust that for working under the car and I don’t see the point of having a remote. With a lift I like the idea that there is one button to raise/lower the vehicle and that button is mounted somewhere it can no way be accidentally pressed.

from their website, you are just going to put high stands under the car after its in the air…

What happens when your neighbors garage door opener is on the same frequency?

LOLOLOL at the possibilities.

So they took Williams pneumatic wing jacks and made them fit wheels instead… ok…

I am trying to think of a useful reason for me to buy that. If you lift it by the wheels you are not changing your tires. There is no reason to do a oil change 4 feet in the air unless you have a cool drain pan. no suspension work because it is lifted by the wheels. I guess if you were going to wax the bumper at least you would not have to bend over to do it.
