I love the evora and it keeps growing on me… the car just makes sense.

Not that it’s going to make me feel any better about myself arguing this point, but I disagree.

I have ridden around in a few vintage muscle cars that were SUPER loud and modded, but never got the type of “looks” that the lotus get.

People have seen vintage muscle cars for 30+ years. Usually people acknowledge them and maybe wave, but after having my exige on the road for only 3 days, I have seen people make U-turns to catch up to my car. I’ve had people hanging out windows yelling. I’ve probably had at LEAST 30 pictures taken. I’ve had people pace me for MILES… It’s just insane.

At times I hate it, and just want to be left alone, but I guess it comes with the territory.

That said, I think a car like Joe’s Esprit would get more attention than the evora, because the evora looks like a lot of other cars on the road (350z and co.)

I agree 100%, and what I really should have written was "I am sure any lotus would get just as many, if not more, “looks” than any vintage muscle car.

Do those people realize what idiots they look like chasing you down? I bet they get pretty upset when they see you behind the wheel.

As far as the attention the Esprit gets, it is pretty nuts. Sometimes it’s annoying, but for the most part I’m very used to the rubber necking…
