On cars with a steel hood, I agree. I’d paint it…or maybe just paint the outsides and leave the middle CF. I wouldn’t leave it totally undone. On the flip side, you could sell the VIS, and get a Seibon CF hood with the silver weaved in.

Boser hood deff hot, i might look into a boser extension that can be welded on and painted.

On a car like that the weight savings is NOT going to make ANY sort of NOTICEABLE difference to performance. Adding Paint to CF adds weight anyway which even makes the difference less NOTICEABLE.
