So i just picked up a VIS carbon fiber hood for my car.Its an OEM replacement. I dont know if it’s posibble but is there anyway of showing what it would look like on my car. I’m still debating on whether to keep it cf or trying to get it painted body color. Also a black kamei Grill. Let me know thanks.

You have a classy silver on silver combo with the CH wheels. Keep it that way and paint the hood. IMHO.
Absolutely paint it. The only time raw CF looks good is on a black car because you don’t notice it as much…or if its on one of these
yea i was leaning more towards painting it also, just figured i would look at both options, i think the cf alone would stand out to much and take away from the rest of the car

I’d do a silver candy so you can still see the cf weave but it looks the color of the car.

WTF is the point of having a cf hood if you are going to paint it anyway?
The only Idea is to spray a tinted clear on it to match the car but even still its a waste.
if it doesnt fit as good or better then the stock steel hood, leave it cf
ive seen painted CF parts that dont fit perfect, and it tends to look like the owner did a shitty repair to a steel hood

I had this hood on my old jetta and it lined up perfect. Well right now im leaning towards painting it or just selling it.
