I feel he is really trying to pull the spotlight off of him with the investigations. It’s amazing that even 2 months after the investigation started, we still have nothing from it. Like I’ve said before, it’s like the NYS Pistol Permit. Can be done in under a month but they will take several months/almost a year before they finalize. It’s bs.
I missed the rollout of the policy because I was full WFH after having rotator cuff surgery, but my company updated to maskless if you’re vaccinated, honor system, basically like most stores. They added a line at the end though that made me laugh. “If you know someone isn’t vaccinated and they’re not wearing a mask and this makes you uncomfortable, you should wear a mask”. I showed that to an HR friend at another company and she just shook her head and said, “wow, that’s a big lawsuit just waiting to happen”. What’s funny is the anti-maskers were so adamant and loud about their declarations that they wouldn’t ever get the shot that now they’re stuck walking around with masks because everyone in the company knows they aren’t vax’d and none of them want to test out that “on your honor” part. I just went to an offsite client meeting today and their policy was “masks if you’re not vaccinated” so 4 of the 5 of us that went took ours off. Every person at the client’s site wasn’t wearing one.
My wife’s company did the more “real company” thing and told their employees to send HR a copy of their vaccination and once it was on file they could go maskless. Two other companies I know of went the same route, with one even adding a little scarlet letter color coding on their badges they have to wear. I thought the badge thing was a bit much.
Its funny how nobody talks about masks at work anymore.

With this delta variant and the WHO recommending masks for vaccinated and unvaccinated people…I’m really starting to think that COVID-21 is going to a huge hit. COVID-19 was a nice little entry into pandemics but I think we’ve dialed in the right things to make COVID-21 just spectacular!

This is a culture war. Literal front line doctors and scientists are being censored by big pharma and social media. I’m way more concerned over this than any new “strain”.

there is a movement growing up here. i am trying to do a bit of work on behalf of these folks. many of the physicians and scientists that are a part of the alliance are coming under review with their respective boards for speaking truth about the vaccines and censorship.
