just take the brake lines out of the clip and move them down a bit when u do the drilling, be careful not to hit them. Don’t worry, ur breaking performance is not sucrificed if the bar touches the lines.
He’s a fool don’t bash anything, especially not brake lines.
All you need to do is unclip the clip where the lines are in spread them
apart and slide the right side under the top two lines so its in the middle
of the 5, and take the left side and just rest it ontop of the brake lines.
I finally got it on… but I can’t tell if there are any improvements. I’m running on 15 inch tires with soft sidewall snow tires and blown shocks doesn’t help either… hehe
but from just the look of it, I’m sure it’s very stiff.
Hey there, I just got the front bar. Ii didn’t want to get the rear bar yet because I thought it’d be nice to keep my rear trunk interior… and also, my car has enough oversteer already. I am going more for understeer to get the car more neutral.
Hrm, I wonder if the rear bar was the one that actually made a big difference in my ride.
Before the CP bars, I had the OBX one only in the front. After I replace
the OBX with both the front/rear (and riding on summer tires), I noticed
a BIG difference in cornering. It made it a little tighter.
Get the rear bar as well if you want; maybe you will notice a big
improvement in ride, because I sure as hell did.
Also, make sure you have tightened your bolts up real good.
