I have Ni-rod for the TIG if you really need it. And, as you may well know. Running lean, and retarded won’t crack your manifold. Well, not imediatly.
it will increase egt’s but i mean if the fuel is there unless your wot for 2 min it shouldent get any hotter then 1500 deg F. im sure hybrid tuned it to be 11.8 mid 12:1 its def not a tuning issue
my manifold cracked a few times…i think it had to do with my exaust most of the time…as for bracing the turbo,ehh i never really even seen a brace except if people have ssautocrome stuff
edit u got a flex pipe in your exaust??

sorry about the hatch FMF…no egt yet, got one you want to get rid of? As far as the manifold it is VERY tough…I bought it used and it came with “new” paint on it probably to cover the crack. I’m pretty sure that JJ’s can hook it up w/ a nice bead…talk to you guys soon…BTW, new intercooler and piping will be here friday!

how much? pics? 5 bolt exhaust housing?
try to drill a hole at each end of the crack. then reweld it shut. the drilled holes will keep it from splitting further in the event that it breaks the new weld.
in addition, my log manifold was seeing temps of 1600-1650 w/ no cracking ever. nore did i have a brace, although a good ideal. ran it for 3 years and now sonny has it. made from schedule 40 pipe
