Well this happened sometime today. Wasn’t there when I parked this morning was there when I left work.
Anything I can do to keep it from spreading? I have seen it grow a cm or so already. I’m driving to Philadelphia for the NCAA tournament games tomorrow evening too. Fffffuuuuuuu
Don’t know anyway to stop the spreading. I had a Honda accord some years ago that had a dime sized crack… Next day was the length of the entire windshield.

Yeah I have full glass coverage, just sucks that I have to drive the Philly tomorrow with this crack that seems like is gonna spread right in front of my face.
Nope. Windscreens are considered a part of the structural portion of the chassis and a “stressed” member that absorbs and dissipates crash energy. It’ll have a mind of it’s own until the crack is no longer stressed.
This time of year doesn’t help much either. 20s at night and 40s during the day any moisture that gets in there can have a “freeze/thaw” effect expanding it quicker.
