YIKES! 56 years, doors closed.

:feck:

that was my cam of choice :frowning:

Damn… Not good.

No loss to anyone that bought one of the defective crane products a few years ago Bye bye no tears on my part.
except to see an american company going out, that parts sad

They had a good thing going with that Mikronite application.

The reason they had to hook up with mikronite was because of their soft metal.
Why fix the symptom instead of the cause

they also did lots of overflow cams for others.

no cares here…i think them going under was more for bad quality…my buddy lost a 4k motor due to one of their junk cams…all he got was a refund for the cam…and it was through summit and not crane.

Somehow, I don’t think this is the last aftermarket parts company that’ll go under.

My first cam was a Crane, and it was a damn good one. Good idle, MPG, and throttle response. There are too many cam companies. All have different ways to come up with custom grinds.

hummm

Update:

had a couple in my dohc zetec focus motor…i loved them…is america in a recession??

Sad…
