Actually, from what the article says it was very successful in testing. It just got banned before even competing and the owner scrapped it. But “200mph and it had more in it” and “G-Force so great the fuel tank began to swell” seems awesome to me.

i wish someone would bring out a true prototype series. The rules get to the finish line faster then anyone else without playing bumper cars. then separate the series by two classes P1 and P2 P1 keeps the budget under one mill P2 unlimited budget. hey we do have a P1 and P2 series too bad they are nothing like they were back in the 70s witch makes them not true prototypes.
