Creo Schematic/Cabling

Does anyone use these programs? I have to model the harness in our car along with make a schematic. I just got Creo Schematic and no one knows how to use it. PTC University is about worthless too. I have a schematic drawn in tiny cad but I’d really like to see a schematic and model that communicate and just work better than the freeware versions. I imagine proE offers a great solution but with all of their programs the learning curve is steep as hell.

I’ve done a couple of the tutorials but nothing really helps you get started from scratch.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

This is a little old but it’s close:

Bump. No one here uses these? Cmon

i had something i was making harness diagrams on, it has symbols for components, and you can make plugs and all that shit. its close to what you posted but i cant remember the name, it was on my old laptop… i tried smartdraw too but i didnt like the layout and you couldnt make the connectors

I (obviously) have a program that works for making a schematic but I am trying to use the proE version. That is what the chassis is made in so the hope is to be able to route the harness correctly and create ‘prints’ to have the harness complete before the chassis is done.

oh no i get ya, im just curious to see other programs that could make it easier… now i look at creo, is it like solidworks and also does wiring?

Yea, kinda sorta. It’s a pain in the dick but works well when used properly.

Bump. updated tiny cad file:
