This can be discussed on my end as I DO have the garage space, albeit limited. Before I commit to anything, I’m curious as to what your plan is on leaving them out here/selling them out here.
There is quite the profit to be made on bringing bikes to the west coast. Just make sure they can be ‘imported’ by a California resident. For example, I can register my drz400sm in cali since I’ve already registered it in another state but since it’s not 50 state legal someone who currently lives in California could not buy it and bring it in. There are age and mileage limits for motorcycles get around the rules. I’m not totally sure of the specifics though (7500 miles, etc).
lol sounds like you need a cut of the sale price
It aint even like that bruhhhh
Biking across the country sounds exhausting…
hey now old man. haha
I’m gonna post mine on craigslist about halfway out there, let it simmer and see what happens. If it doesn’t sell, and someone’s willing to sell it for me after I leave I just want what I paid for it back, maybe even a little less. Sell it and keep the profit beyond that.
If that’s not an option – fire sale.
Don’t be a pussy.
@Haenszel … I’ve already been talking with Gennaro… but if you want, PM me and we can chat. I don’t expect anything at all, as long as I’m not housing bikes for months on end, haha
Walker and I are here to help, and me having the garage is a blessing for sure.
Keep me looped in as the trip approaches. I’m super jealous you guys are doing this, btw.
Thanks again Paul! <3
I need all of that leather.
Still a 2 person trip with @Haenszel ?
Si.
Without looking through the pages… what days are you planning on crossing into CA?
we will be getting a heat wave out here this week so maybe it will make its way across the country and give you guys some decent riding weather…
I hope its in the 60’s in the desert.
x2… as in multiply that # by 2.
