curb > Dakota R/T rim

i was in a parking lot, and some stupid bitch not paying attention (because she was talking on her cell phone and doing something else) pulled out in front of me. it was either hit her, or lay on the horn and make a sharp right into a curb. my natural instict went with the ‘lay on the horn and yank the wheel to the right’ option. this is the result:

didnt get a plate number, and figured i couldnt get anything even if i did. it was at wegmans, so mayb i could blame them and for having tight quarters in thier parking lot (at the one by the bullevard mall right up front where there is like NO ROOM). o well, i was pretty pissed, but i think i have a spare R/T tim in my garage somehwere, i’ll have to have a look at it.

sucks, but at least u have another rim

search for the “its a jeep thing” thread to see why this is a bad idea to post, lol

Should have hit her, then chucked her cell phone, Viper966 stylez.

BTW, why were you going fast enough in a parking lot that you couldn’t have stopped in time? :ham:

yea it happends i was that way until last winter rip my poor rims

Dude, if it was at wegmans they have it on camera, probably with her lic #…

i wasnt going that fast. mayb 5-10 mph at most. i should have hit her…after all, that would solve 3 problems i have with the truck: i would prob need at least 1 new headlight (both mine hime moisture in them), get my bumper repainted (needs to be done), and if im lucky get a new hood mines got a coupple chips in it). o well.

You know, in the past couple weeks I’ve almost been hit 3 times in parking lots at Canisius, twice by the same douche bag in a pontiac with the license plate “glitter”.

I want to punch him/her in the jaw.

You have a truck. Drive up and over the curb.

if you were going 5-10 mph you would have stopped in like .2 seconds. did you unnecessarily react or were you going like 30mph?

Word. I can’t stand people who speed in parking lots.

allow me to demonstrate, using the diagram below:

i was driving parallel to the storefront, i stopped at the stop sign, and continued on my way. as i get part way across the ‘intersection’ that is created by the main road and parking lot row, the other car (represented by the white brick) starts to pull out. my options were either keep going and let her run into the side/front of me, or slam on the brakes and and turn to the right to avoid her hitting me. i couldnt have been going more than 5-10 (my speedometer does not start moving untill 10). i also wasnt really paying attention to her and didnt see her until the last split second. i was more or less watching for people walking out of the store to walk in front of me, and wasnt too concerned about a car amost running into me.

That’ll buff right out.
