my 23 Tahoe has spent months in the shop with a transmission shudder. The solution was “it’s normal” Does your have a rumble strip feel when driving around 45 with no load and likely during cylinder deactivation?

Send me a pm I might be able to help

My wife never noticed anything but I could feel a slight vibration and hear a change in the exhaust when it did it. I put a range dfm disabler on it so now I just hear little exhaust burble on decel deactivation. Drive in L9 to disable DFM to see if its still there. Yours the 6.2 or 5.3? Wife wanted a Denali but then issues with the 6.2 bearings started showing up and plus with prices in the 85k-95k range plus dealer adjustment we settled on loaded SLT w/5.3. Thing still stickered just over 77k.

Also have a tint exempt sticker so I never have to worry about tint and inspection.

I also have the 6.2 that now needs 0w40 after the "recall"I keep messing with the L9 test and usually hit traffic so I’m still indeterminant.

So far, the stealership replaced the AFM solenoid, torque converter and valve body.

After the valve body replacement, it actually went away for a while.

Then an area specialist said it’s normal and GM will no longer troubleshoot it.

I’m already at 45k miles and is it wrong that I’m hoping it grenades soon?

Mine:

The wife’s:

The daughter’s:

Team no America AWD reporting, although the Atlas was built in Tennessee.

Had a Escalade IQL (EV) for a few weeks. The range in that thing makes living with an EV a game changer. Rear steer, air ride, pillar to pillar screen. Perfect road trip vehicle.

I finally stage 1 tuned mine just so they’d be a little different.

PS… damn… I did not expect the stage 1 tune to wake it up that much.

Love the 7.0. Anything done to heads or valve train?

Still have my 08 Z06. Heads/Cam/LTs

Have a TRc Carbon Intake manifold and dual pump fuel system sitting around that need to be installed.

Got the C5 out for summer a few weeks back.

Coming up on 7k miles. I bought a cheap touchscreen radio for it that I will eventually install.

The OEM has 90% of the bulbs burned out.

Frankenstein heads, Texas Speed cam package and a few other things

I still have all the same vehicles I had 10 years ago. Nothing I own is under 150k miles, lol.
