Current Foster Pup!

So right now I have a 12 week old Doberman Mix (not sure of the mix but he def has Doberman markings, the light brown chest, paws and around the mouth with black lips) he is a very good for being so young, he responds to his name (Riley) and finally sleeps through the night in his crate without crying! He was a bit underweight when we first got him 2 weeks ago but he is much better now and gaining weight. If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be PM me.

Do want… Stupid land lords!

Looks like an awesome dog! Hopefully she finds a good home soon!

Really cute.

i may be able to get him end of next month i know its awhile but i figured id ask anyway

Great looking dog man. I give you alot of props for fostering dogs like this and trying to find them good homes.

Are you in charge of finding the home or does the agency still have to be involved?

The people that do the home visits have the final word, but I can definitely help with persuading them that the owner is ok if I know them.

how much

IMO if you have to ask how much to adopt a pet for, can you really afford to responsibly take are of it?

your wrong , i already have one rescue pup and was wondering the price of this one . Why does it matter if i ask , keep your opinion to yourself when it doesn’t make a different . Thanks .

I agree with this 100%, an adoption fee is minor compared to what costs you will have (especially for a puppy) when it comes to the vet and food.

But if he is just asking so he knows and is really interested…$250 initial fee, $100 will be refunded after the dog is spayed/neutered.

You will have to sign a contract saying you MUST get the dog spayed/neutered and in the contract it also states they have the right to periodically check on the dog (which they never do) to make sure the dog isn’t being abused. Which if I ever find out someone has been abusing any of my foster dogs I will abuse them because I do not tolerate that shit AT ALL.

Oh and one other thing, he is most likely Doberman/German Shepherd mix. As his sister’s ears have started to stand up and are no longer flopped over, which I’m assuming might happen to him too.

It’s called a public forum, if you don’t like my opinion that’s not my problem. And for the record it does make a difference if you ask me. If you came asking me how much without even asking anything else about the dog I wouldn’t feel comfortable letting you adopt the dog. It tells me and this is my opinion, that you may not be financially able to take care

i would have loved to have him but tge one house i looked at fell through and the other only will let us have the one we already have. either way man good luck with the adoption the pup is beautiful

What shelter are you at? Been thinking about getting a dog, what are the home requirements?

Super bummed now’s not the right time for us to get a puppy, he’s freaking adorable :frowning:

The only thing they are like to see is a fenced in yard if possible. Sometimes pending where you live they may work around that. When they do a home visit its really to get an idea of the environment, if you have a messy and can’t seem to take of it, then they think how can you take care of dog, things like that. If the home visits go well they let you keep the dog then and there.
