Purchased from Microsoft/Digital River online store when Windows 8 first came out. You will receive a printed copy of the Digital River receipt, a DVD copy of the install media, and the Product Key.
When building a workstation, I am a firm believer in good air flow thanks to proper cable management. The inside of this computer is neat and presentable. Cooling is excellent, no components have ever or will ever overheat. Video games play excellent on this workstation. This PC has powered a 27" IPS running at its native resolution of 1920x1080, games played great! Besides being a great Gaming PC, this workstation does a great job at running multiple virtual machines and video/photo editing. I have ran three to four virtual machines at once with VMWare Workstation 10 as a test environment without any problems. The virtual machines ran great and the host OS still had plenty of “legroom” to stretch out.
The 120GB SSD for your OS and essential applications, then a 2TB RAID 0 for games/storage is a phenomenal combination. I generally installed all games to the 2TB RAID and game performance was outstanding. Each one of these Western Digital Blue WD10EX 1TB drives are single platter drives. They are actually faster than many of the Western Digital Black 1TB drives, many of those use multiple platters. RAIDed together, then an SSD… great gaming combination.
As previously mentioned, the operating system is 100% legal and legit. No halfbaked, Torrent/Newsgroup, or pirated copies here. Windows 8 Professional x64 was purchased from Microsoft/Digital River store when Windows 8 was released. The operating system will be freshly installed with all necessary drivers and updates. You will receive a printout of the receipt from Digital River with the Product Key and a DVD copy of the install media.
One slight issue. At times, the top DVD burner tray will not eject. If you press the button a couple more times… it’ll eject. It never bothered me much, the drive works just fine. Besides the PC, I will also include all of the original motherboard, processor, graphics card, SSD boxes and CDs.
